Our Story

We started with one oven and a simple promise

Tranquil 40 was born out of a frustration with processed food and a love for real, honest ingredients. Located on East 3rd Street in Marshfield, we set out to create a space where neighbors could find bread baked that morning, pantry staples you can actually pronounce, and a counter where someone knows your name.

Every loaf is mixed by hand. Every shelf is stocked with intention. We partner with local suppliers whenever possible and never compromise on freshness — because the food on your table should make you feel good.
